Great American Irish Festival in Utica

Has anyone ever been to the Great American Irish Festival near Utica, NY? My family was looking at various festivals that we might want to go to this Summer and thought we would try this one and then take a run to Niagara Falls while we are in the general area. (Yes, I know it is 4 hours away.) Can anyone either recommend it or tell us FOR God's Sake Don't Go?

Dont know anything about the Utica event. Can recommend the Niagara Celtic Festival which is held in Olcott, NY -- 3rd weekend of Sept each year.

Very nice setting on Lake Ontario and I believe Niagara Falls are only about 30 minutes away. Google Niagara Celtic Festival and you should find their site.

PS Been there the last 2 years. Not a large event but very well run--drew about 10,000 attendees last year.
