| | | Harpenden Highland Gathering 2008
OK Guys 'n' Gals, here is a date for your diaries. The Harpenden Highland Gathering will be held on Sunday 13th July this year - at Harpenden in Hertfordshire, would you believe?! This is just north of London and is probably the only annual Highland Gathering to be held south of the Watford Gap. It's within easy reach of most of South and South-Eastern England, so let's see if we cannot make this the location for the largest group of 'Forum Kilties' ever. I shall keep an eye on this thread, as I have a free trip to use with my Easyjet credit card. Subject to a carer being available to look in on Ann as it will be too long a day to leave her on her own (last year I had to set off around 4 am and got home just before midnight).

Trefor, Alan, Martin and Tom - great news! It would be wonderful if you are all able to make it over to Hertfordshire this year - and bring some friends ............ the more the merrier! Several of us who have attended previously plan on being there again.
I will keep everyone posted regarding ticket/programme availability - these are usually not on sale until late June.

Just to give this thread a bit of a nudge - I'd hate it for kilties within reach of Harpenden, Herts to say later, "Oh, we didn't know the Gathering was taking place!"
For the third year running, a group of us from X Marks will be attending so come and join us. Further details will be relayed to you as they become known - but the date is set: 13th July 2008.
Photos Robert? Rest assured there will be photos galore!
