I have a new avocation!

Last evening I was priviledged to meet with the organizing committee for the Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival. It turns out that they were looking for some new volunteers so....

The Games are scheduled for 02/27/2010, with ancillary events both before and after.

I'll post from time to time if there is news to be had. If anyone has questions on the Games, I'll admit ingnorance and try to get answers for you.

For now, I'll post a link to the website, but I'd take it as a favor if you'd Google "Northeast Florida Scottish Games." Google uses the number of searches as a factor in determining website rankings.

While it's doubtful we will get to Florida any time soon, we have enjoyed the Games in California which are also supported by volunteer effort. Thanks for pitching in and allowing other people to have so much fun!
