    Idaho Tartan Day Society

    Greetings all, 31 July, 12:46pmMST

Just to let all of you know about the formation of "The Idaho Tartan Day Society".

Not much at the website yet, but hopefully we get it all "fleshed out" soon:

Myself and three other local Kilted Brothers decided that since no one else has stepped up to observe and celebrate the day in Idaho, that we would.

We will be representing at as many Scots cultural events around the state as we can manage.
Also, I will be starting a periodical newsletter, which will focus on the Scots of Idaho's history, and there were a lot of them.

April 6th was recognized as Idaho Tartan Day by our State legislature in 2006.

    Regards aye,

    Timothy Cayler of Clan Shaw,
    Historian
