Loch Norman Highland Games

My fiancee and I are going to attend the Loch Norman Highland Games outside of Huntersville, NC for the second year this year. Because she owns her own business (Green Thumb Florist and Gifts) in Faison, NC we will leave on Saturday night and have "a date night" in and around Charlotte. We will attend the games on Sunday. We have three friends that may possibly join us this year, one of which is a regular kilt wearer. It will be my first time attending kilted. Hope to get to meet some of my fellow xmarksers there. Please let me know if you will be attending.

Graham

It's still a ways off, but my sons and I usually attend. The camping venue is excellent, and LNHG is one of the very few games that has longbow competition.

My Mrs. and I attended for the first time last year, and really enjoyed it. We'll probably return this year. I'll be the one wearing the kilt.

I plan on being there as well. Are we planning on meeting at Matt's tent like we did last year?

My wife and I will be there as well. This will be her first Highland Games experience and only my second.

Yes, right after the opening ceremonies.

You'll both like LNHG, I believe. It's big enough to have lots of stuff going on, but small enough so that you can see most of what's happening.

piperdbh,

Loch Norman was actually the first one I went to, it was probably four years ago or so. I am hoping to make it up to Grandfather Mountain later this year as well since I have heard good things about that one.
