Newport Oregon Celtic Festival

Newport, Oregon will be hosting their first Celtic Festival June 11-12th at the Lincoln Co. Fairgrounds in Newport. They have an ambitious 2 day program in place. I (with wife and a couple of grand kids) will be hosting a Clan Farquharson tent. We are are spending a week camping at South Beach State Park around this event. Hope to se some of the Oreon X-Marks folks there

Captmac and I will be there hosting the Clan MacKenzie tent. We hope everyone stops by to say hello. We'll be at the Agate Beach Best Western if anyone is interested in a happy hor.

Congratulations to the City of Newport, MS Goody, and the hundreds of volunteers who made the Newport OR games a smashing success. This was the first year, and there are a LOT of events who can take lessons from these folks. Good job one and all.
Oh, did I mention we had a great time? Now, if we could just find more MacKenzies.......

Wow, I didn't see this until just now. That's a great venue for a Games, nice town. I'm glad it went well.
