    Ouch!

This morning I got up, strapped on my kilt, and took the family down to a local park to watch a friend throw heavy things. They practice Saturday mornings. I had every intention of relaxing in the shade, drinking a Coca Cola, and smoking a cigar, basically a calm, mellow morning. No such luck...

I was talked into (no more like volun-told) that I must throw.

Proof? How about the before and during shots of my first throw?

My wife was carrying the Welsh Rugby Scarf (as seen in other threads), and there was much talk about it, but alas, no pictures were taken with it.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun! I'm a big guy, but not in shape, so right now I'm pretty sore (Ouch!). I will go back next week.

The best part, I think I need a Sportkilt... Any excuse to get another kilt is good, right?

Good to see your first throws. Its a lot of fun. I hope you continue to practice with your group. And Yes, a Sportkilt is on the horizon.

Right! I don't need an excuse, I just need the money!

There were! I was surprised at how many guys were there. And several were missing due to the Holiday weekend.

Of course, I was the only one wearing a kilt...It's not mandatory at the practices.
