    PA Ren. Faire

I'm not entirely sure how many "Rennies" are on the forum, but...

My family and myself will be paying a visit to PA Ren. Faire during the Labor Day weekend (not including labor day as my boys start school the next day). I, of course, will be kilted and in period garb (mostly).
Many International Brotherhood of Rogues, Scoundrels, and Cads members and International Wenches Guild members will be there to meet up with us. I'm certain that there would be plenty of room for any XMarkers that want to join the fun.

I usually make one visit to the PA faire and one to the MD one each year. I'll keep this in mind.

Last year was the first year Miranda and I didn't make it to the MD Ren Faire in quite some time. She worked there hocking those ceramic faun horns when she was younger and hasn't missed one in about 15 years (until last year). We're definitely going back this year, as we sorely missed Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy. Whereabouts is the PA Ren Faire?

At the Mt. Hope Winery just north of Manheim, which is north of Lancaster.

The Pa renfaire is about twice the size of Maryland. If I had my choice and the price of gas goes down, I'd go to Pa first. then maybe Md.

I wish I could be there for Celtic Fling. I know A BUNCH of people in the IBRSC and IWG that will be at the Celtic Fling.
I'd also love to meet you and remove a kilt from your possesion.

We're usually there for the Scottish weekend... and we'll probably come for Celtic Fling or Celtic Music fest, too. But they're not really 'Faire' like the actual season.

    Here's the schedule:
    http://www.parenfaire.com/EventsSchedule.htm

and the Irish and Scottish weekends at the Faire proper are:

An Irish Gathering (Sept. 9-10). Jig your way to the Stepdancing Stage as Irish foods, music, and dance fill the Shire.

A Scottish Fling (Sept. 16-17). Kilts a’plenty, Bagpipe Bands, Highland Games Competitions, Scottish Wares & Foods, Music & Highland Dancing, Sheepherding and Scots everywhere!
