A question for the Arizona Rabble

As you may know, Sunday, January 25th is the 250th anniversary of the Birth of Robbie Burns. On that day people are gathering to participate in a world wide toast. I have offered to host a small event at our house in Peoria (NW Metro Phoenix).

To actually participate in the World Wide Toast and make it part of the try for a Guinness World Book record, glasses need to be raised at 9 pm/2100 hours GMT, which is 2 pm AZ time (if I calculated correctly.)

Here's the question- shall we plan an early afternoon gathering- and be a part of the count, or later early evening and do our own toast. Either way we'll plan a potluck.

Maybe one of the Moderators can set up a poll count (thanks in advance).

All are invited- no matter where in the universe you might be. Once I get a good idea for time, I'll start to hammer out details.

What would you like the poll to say?

I'm in for either way. So, put me down for 2pm. If that doesn't work I'll be there in the evening. Thanks, Todd.

Like Spartan, I'm in either way. I don't need an excuse to hoist a brew or dram, but the WW toast sounds cool.

Later in the day is better for me. I'm not out of Church before 1 pm, and if I have to travel to Phoenix, well, I'll need the time.

    I'm another non-commital.

I voted for the afternoon, but I'm cool with either (though I do always enjoy my Sunday afternoon nap!)

Do the 2pm. You'll have time to clean up before the end of the weekend.

What, there will be clean up?!

Ya, that's what I'm thinking. Plus a chance to be part of the "official" GWB toast.

On the other hand it would be nice to get to meet Prester John, and we're holding out to hear from Riverkilt, and the Tucson area rabble.
