    Scotch tasting in philadelphia

    There is going to be a Glenlivet scotch tasting at the Philadelphia Art Alliance on 30 Sep 08 at 6PM. It costs $60 per person. The RSVP info is rbrown@kimmelcenter.org.

    Actually, we had Glenlivet 12, 15,18, Nadura, 21, and a "preview" of the 25 year old that goes on the market tomorrow accompanied by a gourmet meal. Thank god for the last part!

    Oh yeah, I forgot to say that we did sample the XXV, 25 year old scotch, which is the bottle I am holding. It sells retail for US$350, which means a glass would probably cost more than the whole tasting event (that included some seriously fancy nosh) at a fine restaurant.
