Scotland Connecticut

I attended the lovely little annual festival in Scotland, Connecticut here in New England on October 9th. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. I saw Raymac there along with Matt Cowher and his lovely wife Jessica and, I think ctbuchanan.

There were animals, of whom this little darling was, for me, the star:

The wonderful band Mac Talla Mor was there:

If you have not seen them do yourself a favor and check them out.

The Clann Ross Pipe Band was there and Quabog as well as various competitors in music.

This little lad will be in a band in a few years.

There were dancers and atheletes and sheep and good food. If you are in the area in October go there and have fun.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love the wee tip in his kilt! I'd love to visit that part of the world some time.

I was disappointed I missed the games there this year. You had a great weekend for them! I hope to be back again next year. Did they have the sheepherding demo this year? And any sign of a beer tent? ;)

Tulloch - it was good seeing you, if only briefly. CSCunningham was right next door to me as well.

No beer tent - this is Puritan New England you have to remember. The day was spectacular and the crowds didn't disappoint. Still one of the best smaller one day events in the northeast.
