Guess I missed the first post. I'll be there with Glendale Pipies and Drums.
We'll have a nifty T-shirt for sale this year.

Sweet! Are you going to the thing tonight? There is a piping contest of sorts.

My first publicly kilted day was at Phoenix's games several years ago, in my Forrester Modern tartan (my first kilt). No sooner than we had walked through the gate than my wife pokes me in the ribs and says "Hey, isn't that guy over there wearing the same tartan as you?" Yup, first other kiltie I encounter is indeed wearing the same Forrester Modern. We strike up a brief conversation, discuss possible but unfruitful potential geneological relations, and part ways knowing that there was kin around every corner. It has been a long time since then, and the only other FM I have seen was when I joined up at our clan tent at this fall's Stone Mountain Games and met up with the administrators and families, also long lost cousins from many generations back we finally figured out. This year at least I was the only one wearing Forrester Hunting on the second day---only know of three of those personally (me, cousin canuck here on the forum, and one other clan member whose I have seen in pictures only.
Phoenix games were a nice size games and a good one for my first time out.
Y'all have fun.

last nights scotch was delicious, the games today were awesome! it was nice and over-cast, little breezy (not too bad, for the kilts) and I got to talk with a lot of great people! Hopefully be there tomorrow! I wont be kilted tomorrow if I make it, but I will be wearing a Gunn tartan flat cap! See ya all later!
Slainte,
Zach
