Springfield Highland Games (May 16, 2009)

The Springfield Highland Games and Celtic Festival will be Saturday May 16, 2009. The location is the Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield. It had been canceled last year due to underground electrical repair work. These games are worth checking out if you're in the area. The St. Andrew's Society of Springfield does a very good job.

Darn, my wife just informed me that is prom night. Our daughter is a senior this year, 'nuf said. However, if I made a day trip down...

Springfield is only an hour and a half away....

Who is all are planning to attend? It's prom saturday for our high school, so I'll have to leave fairly early in the afternoon, but I'm planning on attending.
