    Tucson Highland Games

    Anyone here going?

    I'm going to drive in on Friday night, arriving Sat morning for the athletics. I'll be leaving immediately after, but stopping for dinner first. Any X-markers want to do a quick meet and greet dinner after the games?

    I know Ron, Retro, and a few others are not too far.
    .. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

    Should be something going on at the Auld Dubliner after - see the earlier thread.

    There's also a free Calexico concert in Reid Park that should be starting up just as the festival's winding up around sundown on Saturday.
