Thanks for posting this Jay, I was going to start a thread when I got back from Prescott.
Folks, this is one of the biggest Scottish Festivals in California, especially Southern California. If you can only make one all year, this is the one to get to.
It's also the World Hammer Championships, so you'll see some of the best hammer throwers in the world here competing for that honor. I'll be competing too of course, though my throws are just little more than half of what the monsters throw.
It'll be a good time, come on out. It's a two day event, I'll be throwing on Sunday but I'll be wandering the festival on Saturday as well, and either night is good for a kilt night.
Hope to see you there!

Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

I'll be there on Saturday for sure, possibly Sunday as well, and I'm gonna try to swing the Scotch tasting if I can find a DD willing to make the trip, or a place to crash for the night... It would be great to finally meet some of you guys face to face.

Well, I had some worries that I couldn't make this one, but my schedule is freeing up, so I'll be there on Saturday. Look for the Fobmiak and then we'll both go in search of the beer tent...

I probably won't be able to go, but I'll see if I can.

I think on Saturday I'll be wearing my new Weathered Mackenzie SWK and the brown leather sporran my wife made me. If she gets the coyote face done in time I'll wear that one instead.
I'll probably be in a green safari shirt too, and set up around the athletic field with the blue tent somewhere.
