Whidbey Island HG - 8/11/07
Anyone else planning on being there? I think I may take a day off from working on my car's head gasket replacement project and head on up there. Probably would be there around 11:30 or so. Most likely in the Armstrong shown in my avatar. Heck, might even wear the same outfit depicted, sans vest, and with boots.

Wish I could go, but I live to far away now. I lived in Everett for four years. I went to the 1st one they had on Whidbey and the three afterwards. I learned one thing for sure! DO NOT walk out the front doors of the ferry to the observation deck without anticipating wind gusts!
Small but fun, I participated in the massed bands. My MacGregor Kilt blended me in well with the MacGregor band out of Mount Vernon.
I'm dying to go to Kelso, one of my favorites.

I will be out of town , maybe next year. I love the area. yes stop by the Muir/Lamont tent. Nice people there
Interesting story. Don is a Moore on his maternal side and a Lamb (Lamont) on his maternal side. I am just the opposite, maternal side is Moore and paternal side is Lamont. We had a good time in Enumclaw and Tacoma.

Guess I didn't make it myself. Awakened @ 9 am, and realized that I needed to do some stuff around the house. Did a dump run, cleaned out the garage a bit, etc... Alas, wasn't even doing the UK today, which I normally would do when I'm doing dirty work. So, it was a t-shirt and sh*rts day for me. Maybe I'll be able to do Kelso. At least, I hope. If not, there's always next year.
