    2007 Salt Lake Games

Can you guess what the "m" in jordanjm stands for? Here he is with his wife and child, posing with me holding a grandson, and my daughter with a new baby daughter tucked into the sling carrier. mrbill had checked in earlier, but I left word I'd return after a brief walkabout.

Returned for this group shot of 3 XMarkers: way2fractious, jordanjm, and mrbill.

Closeup of jordan's Dreadbelly bonnet bedecked with white cockade, clan crest and plant badge.

Portrait time for mrbill (and his newly acquired dirk.) C'mon, strut your stuff!

Both jordanjm and mrbill were wearing Hamilton Dry Goods hose. (Watch out, you never know what I'll take a picture of next. )

A fitting closing shot - heading home, w2f matching strides with his 19-month-old grandson. The new mom needed those couple hours outdoors on such a beautiful day, while the baby slept the whole time.

Sorry I didn't make it up boys. Got "drafted" to help paint our town's new domestic violence shelter...guess I saved a bunch of money on gas, lodging, and shopping the vendors...but missed the fellowship of the kilt.

    w2f,

I love the picture of you and your grandson walking away from the camera!

Glad to hear you could meet up with some of the rabble and visit your grandchildren!

    Cheers

It was my pleasure on Saturday to meet way2fractious and mrbill. They both shared much in the way of knowledge about the kilt, and life. I am in the planning stages of attempting a kilt. way2fractious' XMarks kilt inspired me. Mrbill was kind enough to help me clean up at the end of the day. A big thank you to you both.

Wonderful pictures I will echo what others have said about the last picture.

Not only was the dirk new So was the shirt. I got it from the vendor right across from Jordan. I had talked to the Lady before we left for the Las Vegas games and she had made a shirt for me Extra Long tail for wearing with the kilt.

The shirt was preshrunk before they made it and she only charged $45 for a hand made 100% oatmeal cotton. They are very good at changing the style and cut.

Don't tell Marilyn I have the dirk I put it on the card. The dirk is Made in the Philippines.

I got it for $85 including tax. the website wants $95 plus postage. I will also be able to wear it at Mountain Man Rendezvous and Pow Wows.

The Wicked Tinkers were great (as always) and the games were fun to watch . I got to see some of the band competitions and I meet some of the pipers and a few guys who are learning to play. All in all it was a great day

Oh yea I got to meet some more XMarkers.
