2010 Taste of Scotland - Franklin, NC

Well, it's time to post some photos, while I cool down from the heat here in Florida. Our group; "Jacobites" traveled to Franklin, NC from Lakeland, FL for our 1st group trip and event. It was a very nice time, even though the suffering economy kept most people away.

James - Colan - Myself (in early 1600 garb, yes I know it's not Jacobite period...)

Here's me with 80% of my children, taken at the house before I went in to work that morning.

The kids and their mom standing in the shade watching the border collies demonstrate their sheep herding skill.

The children waiting for the parade, eating shaved ice treats.

Mom and the younger two relaxing on a bench watching the parade go by.

That's quite the brood you got there Matt.
You trying to start your own clan?

It’s been done before, and there is a current effort, too.
Matt, it’s great to see your young ’uns dressed properly. How soon do you think the little one will be measured for the first kilt?
