Re: 4 Nights 5 Kilts. Lots of good times

    Good looking pics!

That German American Kilt from Rocky looks great. I was fortunate to contact him soon after he had the tartan registered with the STA. I have the first G-A kilt made from the initial run. Here is a picture of my wife and I in Germany at a Commander's New Years Reception.

I frequently wore it when I was going to official functions where I knew there would be German guests. It was a good conversation starter. The Germans I met loved kilts!

(PS, I grew up in St. Louis County near the airport).

    Regards,

    Tom

Tom, you look splendid in that photo and so well put together! And, your lady looks very happy to be by your side.
For me, there is nothing in this world that holds the same fascinating appeal as watching the backside of well kilted man...

Tom you look very sharp there. I like the German Heritage tartan Rocky made and Bonnie Heather Greene did a wonderful job on my kilt. Id love to get to Germany one day, my Texas ancestors all came from Germany and settled the Hill Country area of Texas. I can trace my folks back to Germany when they came over in the early 1800's. When I started wearing a kilt this past year, after a Scotland trip, I decided to make my own family tartan using the colors from the flag of Germany and Texas. Similar to Rocky's German American tartan in color but my design. This one is registered and I have another in the works using the blue as the main color. I hope some day to get to Germany and I will be wearing my kilts if I do.

My Texas German tartan, I also have my family name in the tartan.
