| | | 8-yard Polyviscose Heritage of Scotland
My 8-yard PV kilt in Heritage of Scotland tartan arrived today direct from the makers, Hamilton Products of Galashiels, Scotland.
I ordered a 38 waist and explained in an e-mail that when I had bought two of their kilts previously via Gold Brothers, I had received kilts labelled as a 40 waist, but which fitted perfectly on me. Hamilton also sent me a kilt labelled as 40 but which fits just fine. Standard length is 24 inches. A value for money casual kilt for just £29.99.
A view of the pleats, when I tried on the kilt immediately after unpacking it. Some creasing has occurred in the post which should be quite easy to smooth out.

cessna152towser,
I have a question about this brand of pv kilt. Are both sides of the top apron tapered?

Looks nice. I've always liked that tartan, and at a good price too. Congratulations on your new acquisition.

Alex,
Had a shufftie on ebay UK and Hamilton Products are trading there as an ebay shop under the title MyTartanShop
They also have a conventional website called MyTartan.com and I note that on this site they are offering a custom made, six yard, wool Kilt in Isle of Skye tartan for £125.
That's not a bad deal either if anyone is desperate for an affordable IOS.
One could always contact them and enquire about upgrading to a full 8 I presume. Don't know what that would run to though.
Good find mate!!

Every time that I see that tartan, I like it a bit more.
Might have to get one some day....
