After five weeks it's finally here!

It was a very long wait, but well worth it.

The kilt pin I ordered to replace the cheap sword pin that fell off & got lost is finally here. All I can say is WOW! The picture on the site I ordered it through didn't even do this thing justice. It's gorgeous & the 4 flat inlaid stones are some sort of quartz based stones from Scotland or Scottish isles.
(I know some of you prefer simple, plain metal pins. I on the other hand have an absolute fascination with all things rock, mineral & gem quality mineral)

It's got a good weight to it, though it's not as heavy as it's size would make you think. Perhaps just a little heavier than the sword pin it's replacing.
