Thumbs up Alan H's kilt for The_Black_Knight

The_Black_Knight received a wonderful Christmas gift from Alan H - a new kilt!

Here is Alan with the finished kilt.

And here is the lucky recipient.

Andrew thanks you profusely, Alan. Or in the teenage parlance: "It's awesome!"

This is most true. I apologize for not putting the pictures up sooner! Thank you so much to Alan, it is incredibly light and comfortable!

It was quite the experiment, and I learned something....topstitching a dress tartan is a PAIN!...why? Cause some of the tartan is colored and some of it is white, and no matter what you do, the thing is going to show the stitching!

Still and all, it looks pretty good and it looks like it fits. It's nowhere near as nice as your black kilt, but when it's 102 degrees outside and the blazing sun, this kilt will come into it's own. It's *Light*! It closes with velcro...etc. etc.

I'm stunned that it fits! LOL enjoy!

A wonderful gift, nice Alan, and to the Black Night you wear it well, I was expecting a solid black kilt though.

    He already has one!

Andrew (aka The Black Knight) is still a teenager and already has three kilts.

    What a promising start!

    Well done Alan.

    Cheers
