Albannach at Kentucky Highland Ren faire
Wore my new Forrester Hunting tank to the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Faire in Eminence, KY, this weekend to see Albannach perform live. 30 minute show with lots of drums and pipes. First time I have seen my 16 month old son mesmerized and essentially motionless for thirty straight minutes. Here are pictures of the band.

Thanks very much for posting these. I love Albannach. They were ten minutes away this past winter and I was too ill to attend the show. Hopefully, they'll be back here next year.

It is easy to get good pictures when you are sitting in the third row of hay bales---errrh----seats. We could have been front row but for the stroller with my son, and not wishing to blow his ears out too much in his youth. I am sure he will do that himself when he reaches iPod age, since we bought their original album for home. unfortunately only about a hundred folks in the crowd for this show, one of three they did each weekend day for two weekends in a row. Hopefully better turnouts for other shows. it was threatening rain a bit, although it held off.
