Ancient hunting Rose Newsome box pleat. Lotsa pics...

My wife and I took a short jaunt into the Berkshires tonight to have dinner at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA. Stockbridge was made famous by singer Arlo Guthrie in his Song "Alice's Restaurant". Anyway, the Red Lion was built in the 18th c. and has changed little over the centuries. It's a classic New England inn. I wore my recently acquired box pleated kilt in 16oz. ancient hunting Rose tartan made by Matt Newsome. We had a great time and I got several compliments and many smiles. So, without further ado...

    The hearth in the lobby...

18th c. clock in the lobby that runs like new...

St. Nick in the lobby (all edible)

It looks great. Enjoy it. It's a jewel.
