Annual Awards Ceremony

Well the annual student media awards ceremony was last night. The wife this year was handing out the trophys. She is also pa to the student editor of the universitys weekly newspaper, who changes each year by way of campaigning and the students vote who it will be. It was held in the hilton hotel. All the 210 tickets were sold and out of all of them there was only one guy in a cilt ... that was moi. As I have said on many an occassion, I might as well had a dinner suit on, cause no one commented on it at all. It certainly says a lot about young people and their outlook to fashion these days .. quite simply .. anything goes. Anyhow, here several pics ....

The meal was excellent after which the awards ceremony started

I had to share a table with the wife and 9 young ladys who actually are staff in the students union media depts ... life in the cilt is certainly tough

Thats it ... I was certainly the oldest person there by miles on the outside but not on the inside .. lol
