    Another busy weekend ..

Some of our 'gang' wanted to go to Monmouth on Sat, to the Farmers Market. So we set of to Newport on the bus at 8.15am.

8.55am and we are waiting for Wetherspoons to open at 9am

9.02am and were ready to attack the bar

Everyone had coffee except Arwyn and me .. we had a pint of

It went down very well with the toast we also had.

We then took the bus to Monmouth. So as soon as we got off the bus the others went shopping and Arwyn and me took off to the little pub that we know to wait for them ..

    This time we were drinking

Eventually they all came back and we had several more beers and a bite to eat

Then we headed for the bus stop to catch a bus to Chepstow. Its a lovely run of just over an hour down the Wye Valley ..

On route to Chepstow you go past Tintern Abbey .. sorry bout the quality but we were on the move ..

As soon as we got to Chepstow, they all went off shopping again while Arwyn and me took to The Kings Head.
Did'nt take to many pics by now cause we started feeling the effects of all the piddles and rucks. We were drinking Bombadier here by the way.
Anyhow here is Elaine and her best friend Les (who is also in the band with us)

At Chepstow bus station waiting for the bus to come home, time now 5.30pm.

Once we got back, we went straight to Arwyn n Dots to watch the Rugby and had a few cans of Speckled Hen. The night disappeared and we got back home just after midnight.

After a few beers it was time to go so we all had a pose

It started off nice but when we came out it was rain and quite windy all the way back
