It was a braw day to fly to Prestwick today.
Keeping well clear of this big bird.
A short bus trip from Prestwick Airport to Ayr - this is Ayr Harbour, from the road bridge, looking out to the coast.
Burns had a seagull on his head.
The Tam o'Shanter Inn
Auld Ayr wham ne'er a toon surpasses..........
Ayr's Wallace Monument Tower is in the High Street and was built in 1852.
Wallace occupies his niche in one wall of the tower.
Street musicians from Eastern Europe in Ayr High Street.
and on the way home..............

Troon
Kilmarnock
Lowther Hills
Daer Reservoir
Viewed from the south west. The Daer Water flows from bottom right of view, past the isolated Crookburn Farm into Daer Reservoir. The overflow from the dam continues as the Daer Water until it joins with Clyde's Burn to form the River Clyde a few miles downstream from here.

Alex, great pics again. The golf course at Troon looks like it has some open tee times.
