You SURE that's a lake? Can't see the other side of it...??? Around here lakes are something you can see the other side of....

That is one of the Great Lakes Ontario is pretty big and consequently so is Lake Ontario, the other side is New York State. Here is the wikipedia article on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Ontario

I remember thinking I have never seen a lake I couldn't see the other side of before when I saw Lake Ontario for the first time!

Ron | I am with you on this one Ron. We may not be able to see from one end to the other, on a few of our lochs, but we can see one side from the other-----unless its raining! Yes you are right, Great pictures.
