Barb's first box pleated kilt
My first box pleated kilt, in Scottish Odyssey Tartan! I made it as a test for writing the pdf with Matt on box pleating.

Wow! That is a very sharp looking kilt! Very nicely done Barb! Is there any documents out there or even a good description on how to fold a box pleat effectively? I'd like to try it some time on some random plaid just to see how hard it is. It looks much more difficult than a knife pleat.
Again, great looking kilt.

By jove I think she's got it.

Having seen it as a work in progress, it looks even better finished and being worn!
Now, didn't the job go a lot faster with less tapers to sew?
