As previously posted, we had a great kilt night last week out here in Langley. Earlier in the day the CAWFH, Pink Death and myself attended the BC Renaissance Fair. It's only their third year but it is shaping up to be quite an event.
There were a number of vendors offering "period" goods for sale. I did not escape unscathed. The CAWFH just had to have a new corset, Pink Death came home with a new outfit AND corset. I got a turkey leg and a glass of mead?!?
The entertainment went on all day and roamed about the site so you never knew when you would wind up in the middle of some type of to-do.
The midday jousting exhibit was great fun. It featured two knights and two ladies! They were not jousting each other but demonstrated training techniques.
