    Beloitpiper's Christmas

Christmas is a great time in the Long household. Gifts, food, family, but most of all MUSIC. Here are some highlights:

Here I am in my Christmas Eve saffron. Look how dashing I am!

Little Clara (and some neighbors off camera) wanted to hear some carols.

Whenever my family gets together we always play music. Here, two of my uncles and I jam on guitar, concertina, and smallpipes.

    Christmas Eve fling!

Another one of my uncles on dulcimer and me playing smallpipes.

This is the Aran sweater I got for Christmas and my Christmas Day Dress Gordon.

My uncle's backyard piping for the neighborhood.

Christmas always ends with a session. Concertina, banjo, autoharp, and me on guitar.

I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as mine. Be sure not to get too wild on Hogmanay!

    Looks like you had fun!
I wish I could have heard what you played.
OH....if I'm really, really good, maybe next year I'll get some pipes.
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

I love the Saffron get-up. Looks like I know what I need for my Saffron kilt now.
