Big Mikeys killah Hose Tops
I grabbed a few shot of the two pair of Big Mikeys hose tops that I bought recently. I like 'em! I was a bit concerned with the bulk, as folks might remember from a post I'd made about a month ago, so Mikey sent me both a "regular" pair and a "lightweight" pair. So now he's diversified, and I think you can probably order whichever you like. If you have *Big* calves, get the "regulars". If you have more normal sized calves, get the "reduced" set.
I told Big Mikey that I wanted to match my X Marks kilt, and sent him a picture of the socks these were going to go over. As you can see, I'm slowly diversifying my choice beyond just white socks...though I still have two pairs of white ones...*ahem!* I used to have some black socks and I just hate them. I do NOT like the look of black kilt hose on myself, but I found this dark gray pair at a vendor at Enumclaw, and thought I'd take a chance on 'em.
Anyway, here are some close-ups, shot with zoom, inside, in a mirror. I'll send along some head-to-toe pics, taken outside, soon.

I think Big Mikey's hose tops really set off the hose and the kilt. I wear my pair with my Flower of Scotland kilt by default.

They look good to me, and they seem to set off the tartan perfectly.

Jamie
That was my thinking, when I bought them. I'd actually hoped for a lighter gray, but when I saw them, I thought they'd do well with the X Marks tartan...what's $25? So I handed over the MC. They were purchased at the Black Knights favorite kilt outlet!

Looks good Alan. I agree with Jamie. The dark gray hose and those tops makes a great combination with the XMTS tartan.

They look great!
I'll need to get a pair when I get some money together!
