    Binghamton, NY, Nov. kiltnight

Some pics from last night's gathering. Some of us dressed up a bit more than usual, in honor of Veterans' Day.

X-Marker Bob C. and wife Kim:

This is Victor Hutchings, his wife Anne, and son Ken. Victor is our kilt-night "guru"! He and Anne emigrated from Scotland in the late `50's. He is a WWII vet: Royal Navy, was torpedoed twice by U-boats, and participated in the D-Day landings. Quite the old fellow, with many great stories:

    Where's Bob C.'s "cookie-duster"?

Brian, is that the Forde tartan? It looks grand!

Missing since April. I've been thinking about growing it again for the winter.

Forde it is! For my great-grandma of that name (she spelled it without the 'e') who came over from Ireland in the 1890's....

Which one? How about names and tartans for that first pic? I think I recognize some of both, but not sure.
