Blair is the site of the last castle siege on British soil. 1746: Lord George Murray and part of the Jacobite army attacking his family's own house! It was defended by a Col. Agnew and part of the 21st Reg't of Foot. The siege was a failure as Lord George had to break off the action and rejoin the Bonnie Prince and the remainder of the army for what would be the final act: Culloden....

Looks like James was following the style of King George IV in the picture but fortunately dropping the pink tights!
