Andrew's send off was a success. We turned quite a few heads at the bar, and enjoyed a fine selection of single malts. The weather was nasty, but we didn't let that stop us. Though only a small turn out, we represented the kiltie world well.
Andrew- Good luck, and stay safe on the trail. We look forward to celebrating your success, kilted of course, upon your return. |

Strange, I have a similar photo on my Camera. It must have been taken later in the evening. The Scotch was taking Effect, See for yourself!

What?! Name the tartans?.... I can't even remember how I got home.
Actually, I'm in MacKintosh Hunting, Andrew is in Cladish I believe, and Rich in in Nightstalker.
The single malts we sampled were almore Cigar Malt (12?), Laphroig 10, Lagavuline 16, Ardbeg, and I think an Oban was consumed too.

I'm glad you did. I'm thinking of keeping a scotch log to remember what i liked and did not like. I liked them all last night.
That Macintosh hunting is a fine looking tartan.

My kilt is the Cladish Bear Kilt that I wear hiking. It currently has over 5,000 backpacking miles on it, and I'm about to add another ~2,800. There'll be nothing like am 8,000 mile kilt!
Andrew.
