This new kilt arrived today from Carse of Gowrie Kilts and Kiltmaker. It is described as a casual alternative kilt known as the Brighton Street Kilt.
Made in khaki cotton canvas, the overlapping aprons fasten by two pairs of studs at the top and there is a stud fastening cargo pocket at each side.

No that is not an extra pleat in the centre, just the way the material had folded when the photo was taken.
