    Bro. George Washington April 30 2008

    On April 30 2008 at 1200 hrs. The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York, along with the Clergy of St. Pauls Chapel in NYC. reenacted the inaugural address of President George Washington to celabrate the 219th anniversary. Here are some shots from the event.

    Is that the St Paul's near Ground Zero with the steeple and the bell given by the people of London? I seem to recall that Washington was associated with the place.

    Exactly, that is the same church. New York was the nation's first capital, and Federal Hall on Wall Street has a large statue of Washington in front to commemorate his inauguration which was actually held there.
