    Very nice pics, sad about your friend doing his last tasting with you. I have been studying to become a sommlier (sp) but wonder if you could do the same with whisky.

    sommelier is really just a wine term...

    ai ca' myself a Malt Whisky Consultant when ai advise resturants an pubs whit tae buy... arr if ai match malts tae food courses fur a supper....

    as far as ai ken- ya can no study whisky consultin' like ya can study tae bae a sommelier...

    it is maire o' a study yursel' kind o' thing...learn through experience...

    there arr Uni programs in distilling an the whisky industry (marketin' maistly)

    And that's just one small corner of Robertson's whisky lair. You should see the rest.

    You should also see the stone walls and vaulted doors that protect it.

    It's quite the treat to be led via candle light down into the catacombs to view it.
