    Buddy Converted!

One of my very close friends, who is also a member of many of the same organizations that I am has long had good things to say about the kilt. He likes the kilt, but thought that he couldn’t wear it because he has no Scottish blood in him what-ever.

He is of Jewish decent and thought that he would look out of place wearing a kilt. Well I have been telling him for months that anyone can wear a kilt, and he finally said OK. Since we would be wearing the same shirt anyway at a recent gathering, I decked us out in two of my very similar SWK thrifties (MacClaren and Stewart Hunting.) I had him use my black leather Nightstalker and I used my brown. I also got him a generic belt buckle and cap badge too.

For a new-guy, I think he looks pretty good, and what's more important he had a blast. Here we are after drinking and socializing all evening.

    What say you guys?

You both look good, he is very well put together for a first timer, just wondering about his sporran strap it looks a bit askew, was that from the drinks or was it the way he chose to wore it?

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
