    Busy weekend ahead ..

This weekend is going to be non stop. On Sat our folk band have organised a 'Medieval Evening' for our families and close friends. There will be about 35/40 of us. Everybody has to wear medieval clothing. Some have hired costumes, others have made them. There will be lots of Ale, Mulled Wine and food .. no knives and forks, hands on jobby. Will post pics early next week. On Sunday we have organised a folk festival in the pub up in the Black Mountains, starting midday. So its gonna be a late night and early start. Anyhow, here's a pic of what I intend wearing on Sat. Its as medieval as I can make it with things I have at hand ...

Sounds like a good night out! And a fine looking costume.

Looks good Derek, I am sorry we could not be there for the party! Les and company did a bang up job on the invites, can't wait to see the piccies. But where is your broadsword and dirk?
