Cache Celtic 2011 Photos

Here are my (few) photos of the Cache Valley Celtic Festival today:

The colour guard at the opening ceremony

The parade of clans with massed bands in the background (sorry, Matty, I missed the Rosses by a few seconds!)

Myself, Gael Ridire, and Matty Ross enjoying the shade outside the general store.

It was a hot but enjoyable day - and it was great to meet Matty and Gael Ridire!

WOW what an awesom day. It was a little warm but a terrific festival. Pleasure to make new friends and enjoy one of the nicest little community Scottish festivals. I have ever seen.

Was a really wonderful day at the festival. Second year attending and although it was hot occasionally a light breeze. Attended with two of my children & their spouses. It was decided by my wife that if we were going to attend the games every year we needed to host a clan tent. Since this festival is Celtic we decided to host an O'Brien Clan tent in 2012, and cater to the Irish diaspora.

Also was wonderful to put faces on Cygnus and Matty. We met after the opening ceremony and talked for a half hour.

I saw him, but I didn't get any pictures.

I'm a lousy photographer - I'm usually too interested in seeing and experiencing things for myself to even think about my camera!
