The weather last weekend could not have been more perfect. Temperature of 70 degrees Farenheit and breezy, but cool and calm in our grove of trees down by the Stanislaus River.

Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. I was in Grass Valley at the InternationalCeltic Music Festival and Renaissance Faire last weekend. It is always so beautiful up there this time of year.

I'm sorry I missed the trip. Maybe next year.

After striking camp, it was on to new adventures.




Bass Pro is a chain of sporting goods stores. As most of us live in urban environments, this would be a real change.



The store is massive. Only the Kaiser's hunting lodge would have more stuffed and mounted critters.
