Celtic Fest Chicago 2010

A scaled down Celtic Fest this year due to city budget woes. That meant no highland games competition or border collie exhibitions, but there were some great bands, pipe bands, and dancing (Irish, Scots, Welsh and Breton). A Hay was there from Garmisch, Germany and Farlander was in town from California. Auld Argonian, Brewboy and McFarkus from the Chicago Rabble. (The fact that it was Mother's Day weekend cut down on attendance).

Saturday was cold, breezy and overcast, but Sunday was a wonderful, sunny day.

Fabulous pics. I always enjoy these kilted rabble pics which match face to the usernames. Tom (A_Hay) sure gets around, it seems only a few weeks since he was right here beside me at my computer desk here in Scotland!
