Charlie Zahm Concert, 10/10/09
I went to see Charlie Zahm, a singer of Celtic songs, tonight. For those not familar with Charlie, check www.charliezahm.com.
A piper welcomed the crowd:

Charlie played guitar, pennywhistle and bodhran.

Me and Charlie after the show. I usually wear a white shirt and a tie with that jacket, but decided to try something a little more casual.

Cool, Bob! We had a mob of out-of-town guests here this evening, or I would have come over....

He never stopped performing at the New Hampshire Highland Games - all three days.

Great Singer
Charlie Zahm is always a delight to listen to.
I have several of his albums and just ordered two more (for my wife for Christmas).
We had a chance to talk to him briefly years ago at Fredricksburg, VA. at a Highland Games and he autographed one of his albums for us. His daughter was about 4 years old and she had to autograph it too!
I've only heard him in concert twice since then but for anyone who has the chance, I'd say don't miss it, especially if it is a small intimate venue.
Regards,
Tom

Charlie Zahm has performed at almost every Highland gmaes I've attended for the past three years. The guy never stops. I saw him at the 2008 Loon Mountain games and, like SteveB said, he played all day every day. It's obvious he loves what he does. I've never heard him have an off day. He's always consistantly good. I'm sorry I missed him yesterday but I'm sure I'll see him soon.

I have seen him at the Long Island Scottish Games the past two years.
Great pics, Bob. What tartan were you wearing that night?
