Christmas in Central California
Hanford, California, where the Tule fog is thick enough to stop all traffic. Fortunately we were able to find our way to the nearby Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, one of the many Indian casinos scattered across the state. No sidelong looks or comments from the staff here about the kilt; a mural in the lobby suggests why.

My favorite niece, home on leave, tries on her new Air Force tartan skirt.

We'll return next month for the Weekend Winter Wonderland concert with Tempest and Wicked Tinkers.

Your niece has a great smile trying on that kilt.
Have you been to the Tule state park? I'd like to see one of the elk.
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

Nice pictures thanks for sharing them.

Thanks for the kind words.
Yaish, we've never been to Tule state park. However, there are plenty of elk to see on the drive north to Eureka.

MC, the Black Stewart is a Stillwater Kilts "standard". The jacket is a sports coat conversion and can be seen in a previous thread here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...573/index.html
