    Christmas Greetings

Happy Christmas to all X Markers!

I am attaching a picture of the MacLean Men, taken last evening at a party. It is so interesting to see three (actually, four) different versions of the same tartan!

Great picture Sandy.I am glad to see a brace of youngsters waiting in the wings. Mark my words if my "boys" were anything to go by; watch out for all your kilt attire as your team will already be "eying up" the good bits! All the very best to you and all your family.

Oh Jock, they already are! I never can find the hose I want to wear, or the flashes, or sometimes even a sporran! Good thing we have lots of bits and pieces! And the boys quickly grow out of various doublets, which is good because they won't be able to wear mine, but bad because they want new ones. Sigh....

Younger son Stuart (in middle of pic) started the evening off in a kilt of hunting tartan. As we were going out the door, he wanted to tighten a strap and...rip! It came off in his hand. Dry rot. Not too surprising considering the kilt was a good 50 or so years old. Luckily, "the next size up" fitted, so there you go.

Hope you and yours had a happy day.

    Sandy
