Church a beer and a hike.

Today after church I went to the Little Apple Brewery for a beer and lunch, the special was crab cakes with red potatoes and vegetables. I wore the USA Army tartan and dark blue long sleeved Polo, same burnt yellow flashes from last night and tan hose. I threw on the Glengarry because it was raining a bit.

This was my feeble attempt at wildlife photography. These birds were dive bombing for small flying insects.

Then it was home to walk the dogs near the Oregon Trail before the rain his us too hard.

I told Joey to watch the same birds I saw at the Little Apple flying where we were hiking.

Tonight I plan on going to The Pub for my weekly fish & chips and of course I will be kilted, I thought that I would dress a bit more casual but since it is mothers day I may stay more dressy.

BTW the birds are swallows (I can probably look up the specific type if you're that interested). Aren't they amazing to watch on the wing? Nice pix, thanks!

I believe the birds are Purple Martins... Great for helping with Mosquitos.

Great pics, you look dapper, and the dogs actually look like they are well trained..Thanks for sharing.
