    Cilt/Kilt Benefits

I needed a cheap n cheerful lightweight kybd for gigging. The ones we have in the studio are brill but heavy. I found a Yamaha on special offer. Most of the features on it I wont use, I just need some good basic 'live' sounds to do the job, which it had.
When I came to pay, they took another £15 off the price simply because I was wearing my Cilt.
    Hey ... made me day

Gosh Derek - that looks huge! Is it a standard piano keyboard size? And you say it is lightweight?

I think I will have a go at that myself - 'kilted haggling'

Have fun with your new acquisition.

    Regards

    Chas

Definitely one to remember, always wear a kilt when going shopping, you just might get a better bargain.

So how many keyboards would you have to purchase to "save" enough for another kilt?

    (See, that's the way I shop. . . LOL)

Chas ... standard piano kybd size it is. It is touch sensitive but the keys themselves are not weighted like a piano. It is still lightweight though.

Do you have the X-shaped stand to go with it? Those are really handy to adjust for different heights of pianists, or for playing while standing.

    Congrats on the good price!
