Cilts n' Caves

Rob (Lincs) came to stay with us over the weekend and what a fab time we all had. For anyone who has'nt had the pleasure of meeting Rob, he is a really great guy. We did many things but on Sunday we went up to Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons where all the Caves, Waterfalls are. Here's some piccys

Here we are (well those of us that could make it down the steep path through the rocks to the cave entrance of Porth yr Ogof.

We went well into the entrance chamber and then took off for a little while up one of the left hand passages, where we all wanted to try and get some piccys. Here's me trying to set me camera up.

Here we are on route to some of the waterfalls

Continued on next post.

P1M ... you and Emma are welcome to come and stay at our place anytime if you both want to come down to Wales. We'll show you around .. and when the women shop for tops, we will find the hops. Theres some great brews down this part.
I also forgot to put this piccy on. From the inside of the entrance chamber of Porth Yr Ogof.

Elaine and Derek were fabulous hosts for the weekend, and they had some amazing trips planned, taking in some of the best scenery in South Wales. All of their friends, who accompanied us, were some of the friendliest people I have ever met. We all had a great time, with the walks to the caves and waterfalls being the highlight of the weekend. Kilts, good company, folk songs, superb countryside and real ale; what more could one ask for?

Derek? Is that you? The pose is all wrong and not in the kitchen.
Great pics. Looks like it was a great time out hiking.
