Pics of Clan Claus visit to Niagara, Ontario and the Niagara Celtic Festival in Olcott, NY.

First stop the day before the festival, the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory.
Beautiful tropical butterfly:


Beautiful iridescent blue wings when flying, unusual to land with wings open.


The iridescent blue butterfly's wings when closed, usually closed when not flying. Camouflage wings when closed, the "eye" to ward off predators.

Great photos so far, Catherine and I absolutely loved going into the butterfly conservatory when we were in Niagara this summer. We both look forward to the rest of the photos.

The Maid of the Mists in front of the American Falls.

Clan Claus, in our official, registered with the Scottish Tartan Authority, "Claus of the North Pole" kilts, met-up with X Markers: L to R: Wompet, Santa Kona, Mexpiper, Santa Wally


Santa Kona, Mrs Claus (Kona's wife, Kathi), Sandy Cady, Santa Wally. Santa Kona and Santa Wally have our version of dandelions from JoAnn Fabric behind our clan crest on our bonnets.
